Hi there!
My name is Barbara, and I am passionate about Computer Graphics, Animation movies, and real-time simulations. Me in less than 150 words :-)I really enjoy working in the field of 3D animation and simulation, I am a good coder, but I am a very social person too :-) In Spring 2009, I obtained a PhD in Computer Graphics at the Virtual Reality Lab, EPFL, Switzerland,
where I've taken part in the creation of a real-time crowd simulation engine in
C++/OpenGL/GLSL. I have worked on most aspects tackled by real-time crowd simulation, including: animation, rendering, levels of
details, variety, navigation, behavior, and others.
Also, over the last 2 years, I have co-founded and managed a startup: Minsh,
in which, with a team of 5 people, we have developed an online virtual world and 2
social games in Flash, connected to Twitter, Facebook, and Hi5
respectively. Our latest game, Happy Lagoon, has been released in mid-August 2010 on Hi5 and Facebook, check it out! My specialtiesComputer Graphics, Real-Time simulations and Rendering, Crowd Simulation, C++, OpenGL, GLSL, Qt, LUA, AS3, Flex4, Python, Papervision, Away3D, Collada, Linux/Unix
